CAGI Leaders

Church leaders at the Church of Amazing Grace International include: the Minister of the Word and Sacrament, church elders, other lay leaders such as finance officer, group leaders, deacons, worship leaders, Sunday School teachers, communication/ media and security team. Our church leaders are persons of faith, dedication and good judgment. Their manner of life is a demonstration of the Christian Gospel, both within the church and the world.


CAGI Pastor

Rev. Dr. Johnson Kĩriakũ wa Kĩnyua, serves as the Senior Pastor at the Church of Amazing Grace International (CAGI), Anaheim, California. The pastor with the assistance of church elders has responsibility for the life of the Church which includes (but not limited)exercising leadership, church government, and church discipline.

Mary Kiriaku - Christian Education

I was born in central province of Kenya and raised in a home where church going was not a choice but the norm. I accepted the Lord as my personal savior at an early age and have witnessed God's hand carrying me through the different phases of life. Ebenezer is His name. I am married to Rev. Dr Johnson Kinyua and the union is blessed with 2 girls and a boy. Serving the Lord along side Rev. Johnson has opened doors and opportunities to meet some of the most amazing people God created including members of CAGI. I would never have imagined. I am forever thankful to the all knowing God. I am humbled to serve in the various ministries in our church. More specifically, the children and youth ministry is close to my heart. I am expectant to see what God is doing in our time through family enrichment program.

Elizabeth Wambaa

My name is Elizabeth Wanjiru Wambaa, daughter to the deceased Peter Nduru Mukora and Edith Wamucii Nduru of Ngong Hills, Kenya. I am married to Cyrus K. Wambaa of Muthiga Kikuyu, Kenya. I am also a mother to four wonderful children and a grandmother to eight grandkids. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior on December 24th, 1991. I'm so humbled to serve as an Elder of the Church of Amazing Grace International. I will continue to serve until Jesus comes. Thank you and God Bless.

Erastus Bundi

My name is Erastus Bundi Mbiriti and a born again Christian. I was born in Chogoria, Kenya. I am married to Irene M Bundi. The Lord has blessed us with 4 children, two daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law and six grandchildren. I am a member of CAGI and serve as an elder.

Pastor Janeth Masinde

My name is Pastor Janeth Wakesho Masinde and Christ is my Lord. I was born in Taita, Kenya. I am a mother of four daughters, one son-in-law and two grandchildren. I am thankful to God for the opportunity to serve at the Church of Amazing Grace International. Thank you.

Loise Mureithi - Session Clerk

My name is Loise Muriithi. I was born and raised in Kenya, Kiambu District, Kiambaa Division, Kiambaa village. I attained my academic and career development in various institutions in Nairobi, Kenya. I got married in Nyeri District, Mukurwe-ini Division, Gakindu Village. I am a blessed widow, a mother and grandmother. I am a born again Christian, converted at an early age in my childhood years. I taught Sunday school when I was a young girl at St. John's Anglican Church in Kiambaa Division. I also sang in the Church Choir. By virtue of marriage to my late husband who was a member of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (P.C.E.A.). I converted to become a Presbyterian Church member. I joined the P.C.E.A. Woman's Guild. I was privileged to serve as a Deaconess at P.C.E.A St. Andrew's Church Nairobi for many years. I also volunteered and worked in various church committees whose objective was Christian mission, before I moved to California, USA. I am very honoured and privileged to serve as an Elder in CAGI. I have a lot of Love for the Church of Jesus Christ and People.

Lucy Wamagatta

My name is Lucy Wamagatta. I am a born again Christian. I am married and God has blessed us with three children and one grandson. I serve as a church elder at the Church of Amazing Grace International located in Anaheim. Thank you.

Tabitha Gichuru

My name is Tabitha Gichuru. I was born and raised in Kenya in the Rift Valley province. I grew up in the in the house of the lord as my dad was an elder at the church. I accepted the lord as my personal savior, at a young age. I’m blessed with five children, two boys, a girl and two daughters in love. I am a proud member of C.A.G.I church and serving as an elder is a call.
